We start our tour in Goa where we head out towards North Goa and our first ashram stay. Goa is a world famous for it’s beaches on the Arabian Sea and it’s many respected gurus (teachers) along with the many teachers and students of ayurveda, reiki, meditation, music, etc. who gravitate to this special place.
We will spend the first week at an Ashram in the peaceful forest where we will have the opportunity to get into the Ashram lifestyle and begin to practice yoga and meditate in this beautiful ashram campus, and sit with the swami of this ashram as he answers our questions on yoga and life.
We will then depart to the second ashram for a 2 day stay in the countryside situated near the beach. This ashram offers a most peaceful experience. You will be in an atmosphere which radiates loving kindness (metta). You will have the opportunity to learn about the many aspects of yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, postures, chanting, etc.
Our third stay will be at a yoga resort located on stunning Ashwem Beach in North Goa. This is the time to rest in a hammock with the sound of the sea lapping onto the beach and take in all that you have seen and experienced during the ashram stays. If you feel more energetic now is the time to head out for some excellent shopping only available in India. Moreover, if you have specialized requests in terms of treatments or sessions we will liaise with our local contacts to assist you in getting excellent treatments. We will also enjoy a variety of daily yoga and meditation classes.
The tour will end on Day 13 (Oct. 28) and you will either head out to Goa Airport for your flight home or for a private tour that we can help you plan and we can arrange all of the details for you.
